The twelve given instructions and sent to preach

Mark 6:7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; Matt 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Luke 10:1 [1] After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
Matt 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [2] Luke 9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. Luke 10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Matt 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Mark 6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: 9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats. Matt 10:9 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. Luke 9:3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. Luke 10:4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes:and salute no man by the way.
Mark 6:10 And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place. Matt 10:11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into an house, salute it. 13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. Luke 9:4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. Luke 10:5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. 6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. 7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
Luke 10:8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: 9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Mark 6:11a And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Matt 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Luke 9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. Luke 10:10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, 11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Mark 6:11b Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha [3] in the day of judgment, than for that city. Matt 10:15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.   Luke 10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

Matt 10:16 [4] Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

Matt 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. Luke 12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
Matt 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. Luke 12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Matt 10:21 [5] And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Matt 10:23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come [6].

Matt 10:24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Matt 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. Luke 12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
Matt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Matt 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing?and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. Luke 12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
Matt 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
Matt 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
Matt 10:33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Luke 12:9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

[1]Note that Luke is represented here twice. Both chapters 9 and 10 of Luke begin with essentially the same story, the only difference being the number of people (12 vs. 70) being sent out.

[2]Jesus changes his mind about who the disciples should preach to in 28:19.

[3]Because of their wickedness, God destroyed the people of Sodom and Gomorrha (Genesis 18-19). Thereafter, the cities were used as symbols of depravity (in the old testament) and severity of punishment (in the new testament: here and in Matthew 11:23-24).

[4]This speech is repeated in Mark 13:9-11 and Luke 21:12-14 and the first half is paraphrased in Matthew 24:9.

[5]This speech is repeated in Mark 13:12 and Luke 21:16.

[6]The disciples return (Mark 6:30 and Luke 9:10) before the "Son of man comes."
