Jesus curses a fig tree

Mark 11:11b and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Mark 11:12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Mark 11:14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. [1]

Mark 11:15a And they come to Jerusalem. John 2:13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

John 12:17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. 18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

John 12:19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

[1]Matthew place this story on the next day. The stories cannot be reconciled by placing them together because of the reference to the day in Mark. See Matthew 21:18.
