John 19:32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him. 33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water . 35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled , A bone of him shall not be broken. 37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced .

Psalms 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Note that Mark 15:25 and 24 have been transposed.
Psalms 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. This is part of a prayer for divine assistance from a terminally ill person.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. In this passage, Isaiah is speaking of Israel.
Luke mentions the crucifixion of the thieves before the casting of lots.
Psalms 22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him (New Oxford Annotated Bible, p. 1237).
It is interesting to note that the mother of Jesus, Mary, has a sister who is also named Mary.
Psalms 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? This is part of a prayer for divine assistance from a terminally-ill person.
Psalms 31:5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth. From a prayer for refuge from one's enemies.
Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. Part of an answer to Daniel's question about when the end of the world will be.
In Luke the veil of the temple tears before Jesus is dead.
Psalms 38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off (Interpreter's One-Volume Commentary, p.669). Part of a prayer for the healing of an illness.
There are several possibilities for the origin of the "blood and water" passage, including: Exodus 4:9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land; Deuteronomy 12:16 Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water; or Psalms 79:3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
Psalms 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. This is part of a prayer of thanks to God for deliverance from a problem.
Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
